and after your move. The IRC serves as your counselor, technical expert, traffic
specialist, and advocate.

communication, and follow-up that takes every transferee and every international shipment
through 20 tested and proven steps to ensure optimum control, premier service, and a
hassle-free relocation.
(1).. The IRC phones the Transferee within 24 hours to discuss the details of the move.
(2).. Those details are confirmed by mail and sent along with a helpful information packet.
(3).. The IRC then calls the Origin and Destination Agents to brief them on the move and faxes to both agents instructions outlining the services that will be required of each.
(4).. The Origin Agent contacts the Transferee to schedule a convenient time for conducting a survey of the Transferee's goods and advises.
(5).. The Transferee is notify of the survey date.
(6).. The IRC, who, in turn, shares this and any other pertinent information with the Account and the Booking Agent.
(7).. The day before the survey is to be performed, the IRC reconfirms the appointed time with the Origin Agent.
(8).. Within 24 hours after the survey has been completed, the Origin Agent reports the results to Allied International Houston.

(9).. With this information, the IRC determines the best packing and loading methods and plans the shipment routing.
(10).. The IRC then faxes a "pre-advisory" message to the Destination Agent.
(11).. Transferee is advise of all sailing/flight arrangements.
(12).. The Account and the Booking Agent are notify of survey and routing information.
(13).. On the day prior to packing, the IRC reconfirms the arrangements with the Origin Agent.
(14).. On the day of packing and loading, the IRC calls the Transferee to make sure that everything is going well and to answer any last-minute questions.
(15).. The IRC communicates item count, weight, and dimensions of the shipment to the Account and the Booking Agent.
(16).. The shipment details, along with the Transferee's travel information, are send to the Destination Agent.
(17).. The Destination Agent initiates the customs clearance process and contacts the Transferee to review clearance and delivery requirements.
(18).. The IRC monitors the sailing/flight schedules and reports the shipment status to the Account and the Booking Agent.
(19).. On the delivery date, the IRC checks with the Transferee to make sure that everything is progressing as planned and, once again, reports back to the Account and the Booking Agent.
(20).. Last but not least, within two weeks after delivery, the IRC follows up with the Transferee to make sure that everything has been performed to his/her satisfaction.
